About Me

Committed & Experienced

I am the principal of Andrew Cullen Financial Advisory Ltd a recently established financial advisory business based in Stillorgan, Co Dublin.

Prior to joining Bank of Ireland, I gained significant tax experience with the Revenue Commissioners over a 17-year period across various management roles.

I am a Fellow of both the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Irish Tax Institute, and a Qualified Financial Advisor with the Institute of Bankers.  I  was a Board Member of the Irish Tax Institute for 9 years and was elected President/Chairperson for 2010/11.

My extensive business lending skills were gained at a senior level over 22 years with Bank of Ireland Business Banking.  I held key senior management roles in the areas of leading and managing credit strategy and policy for various Business Banking loan books, including responsibility for the risk management of the Bank’s Small Business/Agriculture €2bn loan book.

I also pioneered the project financing of windfarm/film transactions for the Bank and established and managed a specialist lending team that supported nationwide front-line lenders on complex SME sectoral and property lending deals for Relationship Managers.  Developed and managed strong and effective stakeholder relationships with Government, Regulatory Bodies, State Agencies, Industry Federations and Professional Services Firms.
